These terms govern your use of SharpPay. We've written them to be as clear as possible. By using SharpPay, you agree to these terms.
By creating a SharpPay account or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use SharpPay. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We may request proof of age at any time.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice for material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of SharpPay after changes constitutes acceptance.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and must update it promptly if anything changes.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@sharppay.io.
Each individual may only maintain one personal SharpPay account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits, restrictions, or bans is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts.
To comply with financial regulations, we may require you to verify your identity before accessing certain features. Failure to complete verification may result in restricted account functionality.
SharpPay may be used for lawful personal and business financial transactions including sending and receiving money, bill payments, merchant payments, and cryptocurrency transactions.
You may not use SharpPay for: illegal activities of any kind; purchasing, selling, or facilitating illegal goods or services; money laundering or terrorist financing; gambling (where prohibited); fraud or deception; sending unsolicited payments to harass users; or violating any applicable law or regulation.
Cryptocurrency transactions must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. SharpPay does not provide investment advice. Cryptocurrency values can go to zero — you accept all associated risks.
Completed payments between SharpPay users are generally final and cannot be reversed. You are responsible for verifying recipient details before sending any payment. SharpPay is not liable for payments sent to incorrect recipients.
We may charge fees for certain transactions. All applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you confirm a transaction. Fee structures are available in your account settings and may change with 30 days notice.
We may place holds on funds or impose transaction limits for security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance purposes. We will notify you of holds where legally permitted to do so.
Disputes must be initiated within 60 days of the transaction date. We will investigate disputes in good faith but cannot guarantee refunds. SharpPay's decision on disputes is final for peer-to-peer transactions.
All content on SharpPay — including the app, website, logo, trademarks, and all software — is the exclusive property of SharpPay Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SharpPay solely for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services.
Any content you submit to SharpPay (such as profile information or support communications) remains yours, but you grant us a license to use it to provide and improve our services.
SharpPay is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SharpPay's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
SharpPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support. Any pending transactions must be resolved and remaining balance withdrawn before closure.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we determine you have violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your right to use SharpPay ceases immediately. We will retain your data as required by law. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of SharpPay will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration.
You agree to resolve disputes with SharpPay on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Use SharpPay for legal purposes, keep your account secure, one account per person, transactions are generally final, and don't be shady. If something's unclear, reach out to support — we're happy to explain anything.
